all manner of stories....

So, this falls under the "all manner of stories" that AM mentioned in the first post when she graciously made this place for us....and AM's blog tonight made me think of it! (*hands AM a batman cookie*) The very first festival I went to, I think was like '99 (mebbe '98), and a pile of us from Live Oak, who had met Roy and Josh when they came down to work at the park here came up for the festival. Now at this point, we Floridians only knew a couple of Cornetts....Roy, James, and Grandma....and from those three, you can't really tell what a STRONG family resemblance there is. We got to the festival (camped WAY back close to the box office!!) and kept meeting Cornetts throughout the weekend....it was like, oh, there's Roy 15 years from now, there's Roy 25 years from now, there's Roy 35 years from now, there's Roy 50 years from now, and when we met Beth Ann, it was like, oh, there's Roy in a dress......and I've only missed one F.O.T.B. since then, the year I was in massage school! It's my number 1 most looked forward to festival of the year, and this festival has brought me some of my closest friends! So, thank you Cornetts!!!!!!!! Thank you so much! I really appreciate what the Cornett family has built!
